The Moon Phase Ring Size 5.5

The Moon Phase Ring embodies intrigue captured in sterling silver, utilizing one of the oldest casting processes known to man. Its Lucky Strike Agate heart is securely set in an ornate crown-like bezel setting, concealing a crescent moon cutout sawn through the back of its bezel setting. Due to the stone's natural translucency, a secret shadow moon image can be viewed shining through the front of the cabochon when held to the light. Framed in crescent moons of various sizes, its domed dot accents nestle between them, fusing the piece into a cohesive whole. The central texture of the band occurs when pouring molten Sterling Silver into a void carved into a Cuttlefish bone, picking up all of the organic ridges as the metal rapidly cools. The ring shank is then framed in square wire, soldered, and trued into its final shape. After filing and sanding, the ring is branded with the Down Poor Jewelry trademark and finished to a high polish, ensuring a smooth fit. At 3/8" wide, the low profile of this three-piece band is unparalleled in comfort.
